Upcycled Calendar Gallery Wall

In the midst of this quarantine I have been completing a bunch of small design projects around the house. This repurposed Ansel Adams calendar was the perfect project for an easy DIY gallery wall; I actually bought this calendar at the beginning of 2019 with a potential gallery wall in mind!

Calendars are a cheap way to get great photos for fractional cost. I think this calendar only cost me $15 or so on Amazon. Last week, I finally took an exacto knife and cut the photos out to create this grid. I decided on leaving the captions, since it gave great information about the year and location.

I secured these to the wall in my dining room with good ‘ol command strips! eventually i plan to put these in frames for a more polished look, but I’m really in saving mode right now - plus i love how it turned out!

Do you have an old calendar that you love? Don’t underestimate how photos can transform a room!
